On Friday, February 27, we are taking over the Angel Orensanz Foundation and transforming it into a full-blown New Orleans experience with brass, funk, beads flying, deep community spirit, and that unmistakable energy you only get at actual NOLA celebrations.

Fat Friday NYC is supported by a fantastic team of volunteers, chefs, musicians, artists, and restaurateurs who pour their hearts into this night.

Circus Mind and DJ Richie will anchor the music, with special guests and surprises woven throughout…. This is a philanthropic, high-scale production, community-driven Mardi Gras benefit, where all profits are donated to non-profit 501(c)(3) organizations from NYC to New Orleans. The event runs with no salaries, no overhead, and a vast network of people donating or discounting their time, talent, and resources.

ABOUT THOSE EVENTBRITE FEES

Eventbrite charges a percentage-based service fee, not a flat fee. Higher-priced tickets have higher fees because that’s how their system works. These fees go only to Eventbrite, not to the organizers, musicians, or charities, and the committee chose not to inflate ticket prices to “hide” the fees. Hence, the integrity of the donation stays intact.

If a fee looks high, it is Eventbrite math, not Fat Friday math.
