On Friday, March 5, FAT FRIDAY takes over the Angel Orensanz Foundation, transforming it into a full-blown New Orleans experience with brass, funk, beads, deep community spirit, and that unmistakably authentic NOLA energy.

FAT FRIDAY is supported by a fantastic team of volunteers, chefs, musicians, artists, and restaurateurs who pour their hearts into making this night unforgettable.

This is a philanthropic, large-scale production, a community-driven Mardi Gras benefit, where all profits are donated to non-profit 501(c)(3) organizations from NYC to New Orleans. The event runs with no salaries, no overhead, and a vast network of people donating or discounting their time, talent, and resources.

THE VIP EXPERIENCE

This is the experience we encourage most, because VIP tickets and tables are what drive the charity donations and make the event possible.

A VIP ticket includes:

  • Early entry at 7:00 PM

  • Dinner (New Orleans–style, prepared by NYC chefs)

  • 90 extra minutes of music, beads, and revelry before General Admission enters

  • One drink ticket

  • One raffle ticket

  • Full access to the entire show

Think of VIP as the complete Mardi Gras experience: the food, the full-length music, the culture, the vibe, the community.

And if you purchase a VIP table, you and your guests get your own home base for the whole evening.

ABOUT THOSE EVENTBRITE FEES

Eventbrite charges a percentage-based service fee, not a flat fee. Higher-priced tickets have higher fees because that’s how their system works. These fees go only to Eventbrite, not to the organizers, musicians, or charities. We choose not to inflate ticket prices to “hide” the fees. Hence, the integrity of the donation stays intact.

If a fee looks high, it is Eventbrite math, not Fat Friday math.
